The meat industry is one of the biggest contributors to climate change, yet demand for poultry, beef, pork, and other animal proteins continues to rise. Although they’ve been a solid alternative, plant-based meats haven’t been able to emulate the sensory and physical properties of animal protein.
Cultivated meat closely resembles the real deal, while also providing environmental benefits and promoting sustainability. While the industry is new and not without challenges, it’s also ripe with investment opportunities and the prospect of changing the landscape of the $1T meat market.
